Jeanne + Johnhan | Hollins House | Santa Cruz

Jeanne and Johnhan's love story began with a wink. Johnhan sent Jeanne a wink on Match.com and although Jeanne was initially hesitant, they soon started chatting non-stop. Several weeks later, they had their first date, which lasted seven hours! Fast forward two years, Johnhan proposed to Jeanne in Tiburon, CA after a day of hiking, biking and sightseeing during the Fourth of July weekend. Several days after getting engaged, they added Squeegee, a bouncy white pup into their lives. Despite the difficulties of raising a new puppy and wedding planning, Jeanne and Johnhan conquered all obstacles and married on June 30th, 2012 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by close family and friends in Santa Cruz, CA. Here are the highlights of this amazing day:

Alexandra + James | Villa Montalvo | Saratoga

We are not sure exactly when the first time we met, but we remember where. It was on the dance floor of a posh little club called Slide, we shared the last couple of songs together  then went our separate ways. More then a year later our eyes met once again, this time at a daytime outside party on the bay. The weather was strangely tropical, we danced cheek to cheek in a misting rain that was lit by an evening sun. There was no doubting that we had a strong connection yet the timing was still not quite right for both of us and we parted ways once again. Then in the spring we both happened upon a party in San Francisco, both arriving to meet up with friends yet driving alone and free of obligation. Once again we met on the dance floor both of us unable to hide our excitement of this third, fate filled meeting. We quickly embraced and after a few songs she was eager to introduce me to all her friends, we were so reluctant to separate that we ended up going to an after hours club and dancing into the morning light. While many people look to New Years as a time to change their lives, Heidi and JoJo had no idea that when they met one typical January 1^st, they’d never be the same again. Exactly two years later, JoJo proposed to Heidi in Lake Tahoe as they rang in the new year together. They excitedly began planning the big day, but soon found out there was another big day on the horizon—the birth of their baby girl! “A Kiss Long Distance Goodbye Wedding Celebration”

We both were introduced by a close friend in college at the age of 20. When we first met, we stayed up until 3 AM talking, and then had to depart the following day since spring break was over. We went to school 400 miles apart, and yet it was then that we started our 8 year long distance relationship together. On our 8 year anniversary, we got engaged. Being in a long distance relationship was everything but “easy”, thus throwing a “Kiss Long Distance Goodbye” wedding celebration was the perfect theme for our wedding.
