Recent review by a wonderful client!

To anyone in the SF bay area who is searching for a videographer to capture your special events, my husband and I would both like to wholeheartedly recommend Blue Moon Productions.

Andy Hirsch, who is the founder, CEO and principal videographer is extremely professional, patient (Lord knows he was patient to put up with all the chaos in my family), extremely courteous and reliable. These are the qualities that you seek in the person you entrust with capturing your special memories for posterity.

Blue Moon filmed our wedding this past June, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Andy even went as far as matching our vintage theme and colours with the right fonts and creating an old fashioned grainy sequence for our 'First Look'.

The emotional content of the day is brought to the forefront through Andy's skillful editing and attention to detail. One can really relive the wedding day through his work.

Blue Moon Productions is a great investment. Search no further, you have found the right man for the job!

Lisa + Yankie | Oceano Hotel & Spa | Half Moon Bay

LGDC23: "Where the @#$% is Pikesville?"
Yankie29: "Where the @#$% is Los Gatos?"

The first two sentences that catapulted Lisa Greenfield & Yaakov "Yankie" Strauss into marital bliss. Lisa was living in DC and Yankie was living in Baltimore. Two completely different people going in two completely different directions, brought together by chance. If it wasn't for the Jewish Dating Network, JDate and a little spunky attitude on chat, these two would have never met. Living on the East Coast and traveling back and forth between the two cities was fun but they eventually picked up and moved to Northern California together. The Oceano in Half Moon Bay is where these two started their new road to forever. Here are the highlights of Lisa and Yankie's beautiful wedding day:

Katia + Jonathan | Allied Arts Guild | Menlo Park

British Heritage and the love of childhood fairytales inspired Katia & Jonathan's Vintage Shabby-Chic English Tea Party Wedding. The event took place at the sumptous surroundings of Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park, CA. A very fitting location considering both the Bride and Groom majored in the arts. Fulfilling the parts of both the Bride and the event designer, Katia's passion for detail and DIY craft projects was evident. Pink peonies and ivory roses floated in dainty tea-cups and teapots. Old Fairytale books and hand made 'send off' wands were only a few of the personal touches to characterize this wedding. The happy couple met at speed dating in 2009.

Colleen + Nathan | Mission Santa Clara | Santa Clara

After moving to Orange County, Colleen decided to join match.com to meet new people. Little did she know it wouldn't take long for her to find her perfect match. Talking hockey over beers, Nathan and Colleen realized this wasn't just another first date. The couple were engaged in Lake Tahoe after a year and a half of dating.

Genee + Dan | Opera House | Los Gatos

Genee was running late to the hospital, jumped on the UCSF shuttle and sat behind Dan. They'd never met before, but that day they'd run into each other not once, but twice. On the shuttle ride home, they chatted about weekend plans and exchanged numbers. Dan was heading to Reno and knew he'd come home with an empty wallet, but Genee's phone number felt like a million bucks.

Tamar + Venkat | Stanford Faculty Club | Stanford

This past December I had the pleasure of filming one of Tamar and Venkat's wedding celebrations at the Stanford Faculty Club. Tamar is a graduate of the Stanford School of Business, so this location had a personal meaning for them. Earlier in November, the couple had traveled to India for a traditional ceremony with Venkat's family. This summer they are taking off to Israel for a third ceremony with Tamar's extended family! Talk about a year of bliss! Tamar and Venkat share a love of ballroom dancing, so their first dance performance was quite impressive.

Lauren + Jeff | Bentley Reserve | San Francisco

It was Halloween 2008 and Lauren and her roommates decided to throw a costume party. To Lauren's surprise she met a guy (Jeff) wearing a snake charmer costume who made her laugh and they hit it off. "He had the cutest dimples!" The following week Jeff took Lauren out to Maggiano's. "Needless to say, the date went great and we have been inseparable ever since!!" Jeff proposed to Lauren 11 months later on her 26th birthday.

Check out their amazing wedding highlight:

Betty + Kit | Same Day Edit | Monterey

Last weekend we headed South to the Clement Hotel in Monterey. We had the pleasure of filming Betty and Kit's wedding day with a same day edit. The day was packed with activities. We started out at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, had fun doing a gate-crash and a traditional tea ceremony as well as a western style wedding on the deck overlooking the Pacific. Many thanks to Matthieu Meynier of Cinematt, Dominic Colacchio, and Dan Wachs for making this day a great success! Betty and Kit were gracious hosts and we wish them all the best in their life together!

Have fun watching this SDE! :
